Last night I danced danced with Fall Out Boy.
So as all of you know yesterday was Bamboozle. We left at 9:30 to get Anthony and then we headed over to Giants Stadium, our mix cds playing away, as we drove through Jersey and then finally made it to see people lying in the parking lot, we obviously made fun of them and said that they should have gotten run over. We made fun of a lot of people, but it was all in good fun. Uncle Joey called them "freakazoids" and said that I had the chances of becomming Senator and than President.
As it is with all concerts, we were checked by secruity and we had to throw away our water bottle caps because they didn't want people throwing them. Instead people threw the actual bottles. Uncle Joey got hit with one, Anthony got hit with a plastic beer bottle in the head and I got hit with a half full bottle of water in the face, my right cheek right after AAR. We were also sprayed with siera mist, water, beer, you name it. People threw it and we either got hit, sprayed, or saw someone else suffer. Thank God they took away the caps.
When we got there we wandered around, signing up for things, getting free stuff, meeting two of the guys from Bank Robbers, buying t-shirts and all that jazz. The first band that we saw was Matchmaker and they were actually pretty good. I liked their stuff. We watched them for a little while but then left because no one was doing anything and no matter how dangerous it can get it's better to have people crowd surfing and all of that than have people doing nothing at all.
Next we saw The Sleeping and they kinda sucked so we ended up meeting up with Jaclyn, Tracy, Joey, Olivia, and Diana. I tried to meet up with Vicky but that didn't work out. Whenever she called I was right in the middle of a set. So after The Sleeping we saw Bayside and after them we waited on line to meet Motion City Soundtrack and get a poster signed. That was pretty awesome, they were cool dudes. Sadly, we couldn't take any pictures, but it was still awesome to meet them.
After meeting them we rushed to see HelloGoodbye but they were having problems with their equipment, but they were still good. Then we saw Relient K and they were cool, then we saw some of From First to Last, Hawthrone Heights, then we ran to see Motion City Soundtrack. We did hear some of Streetlight Manifesto though, ska band, pretty cool.
During Motion City we met cool people. For the signing we met this girl who was obsessed with Fall Out Boy, she was awesome. And then during the set we met this group of people and this dude asked me and Anthony who we saw and he was like "You guys didn't see Silverstein? What were you doing? The only way I'll forgive is if you say you were doing her." Then Anthony and I smiled at each other and he said "Oh yeah." and put his arm around me. Lol. Good times.
All of the body surfing. I ducked most of the time, was crotched in the face once, had my glasses almost fall off twice and helped some people. You wouldn't except that from Motion City's music, but you can never tell.
We left a little before Motion City ended and made our way up to the front to see AAR. I have to say AAR was my favorite performance of the day. They're just an awesome band to see live, they put all of their energy into the show, their hearts, all of it. Tyson was awesome as always, swearing like the sailor that he is. But I think Pete sweared more than Tyson last night. AAR didn't perform for long but while they were on they rocked. Mr. Spotlight man and the toliet paper and of course the balls. Never forget about that. Oh...and then I got hit with the bottle. Least favorite part of the day but still it was an experince. But then there was a guy who caught a bottle, everyone cheered for him, the hero of the day, no doubt about it.
After AAR we waited for Fall Out Boy and it got all ghetto fab, playing Ludacris and Kanye West, because we all know how G FOB is. Once Fall Out Boy came on the crowd surfing and bottle throwing died down but everyone was pushing and at one point I just had enough, I couldn't breathe, this girl was elbowing me, and I was being shoved this way and that, and you know me, I like being in the crowd, the pushing, the surfing, I love it all, but this wasn't fun. So me and Anthony moved back and we watched FOB. They were pretty good too, not amazing live but good.
"If you know the blanks you have to say it. Mother ___! ___Hole!" -Pete. He also talked about how the guys were just there to get laid because they knew if they stayed their girlfriends would be happy. Their special guest was Panic! At The Disco and they played half of a song which was pretty cool. As FOB performed a woman passed out and that was pretty scary, a day full of injuries. But FOB was on and I had to watch. Pete talked about his naked Sidekick pics and all that jazz. And we all sang our hearts out and it was just so incredibly amazing.
But in the words of Hawthrone Heights...what exactly is a Bamboozle? I guess we'll never know, probably one of life's great mysteries.
But yeah...the greatest performances...AAR, Motion City Soundtrack, Fall Out Boy, Motion City, Matchmakers, Hawthrone, Bayside, and so on.
Sooo...recap...bands seen: -Matchmaker -The Sleeping -Bayside -HelloGoodbye -Relient K -From First to Last -Streetlight Manifesto -Hawthrone Heights -Motion City Soundtrack -The All American Rejects -Fall Out Boy
Then as we left we saw that there was a razor on my dad's car. That was pretty sick and funny all at the same time. Uncle Joey kept it as a souvenir. Lol. I spoke to JC while Anthony was "sleeping" in the car. And then we had an insane fit of laughter. It was pretty amazing.
And if any of you are curious, Anthony's bump is gone and my face is doing fine. And I'm positive no one was hurt in the dance off before FOB.
So like Pete said...the away messages for today would either be: "It was hot, the bands sucked, and all the guys from Fall Out Boy are ugly in person, except Patrick, he's a cuite." OR "Last night I danced with Fall Out Boy. Last night I danced danced with Fall Out Boy."
I'll let you guess which one is mine. |

Yes, as you may have already figured, Dawn nudged me to update this thing because I haven't in 10 weeks or something like that. So here I am, updating. Lol. So I hear you can put more icons on this thing, which is always cool. If you know me, I'm an icon whore. But right now I'm feeling like a pic whore, so for your viewing pleasure...a picture.

The beauty of Tyson Ritter...sigh....
Ethan Frome is staring at me as I watch Ella Enchanted and upload some Michael Buble onto my iTunes. I have to finish reading to for Tuesday. It's not that bad actually so I think I'll be alright. |

So on Saturday I went to the All-American Rejects/Rooney/The Academy Is concert and it was so amazing. I even got to meet the drummer from Rooney and get a pic with him. It was so great and meeting him was just awesome. I didn't get to go to the meet and greet and meet the rest of the bands, I would have loved to meet Tyson. One of my friend's friend, Anthony's friend, the one I went with, well his friend went and she got to meet them and man oh man am I jealous. But there's always next time.
And since I was so inspired by the show I "pimped" my LJ. Lmao. Yes, I "pimped" it out. |

All of this inspiration for something, I only wish I knew what that something was. I hate when I feel inspired but don't know what I'm inspired to write about, it's the worst, isn't it? |

So I met an author today in Waldenbooks. He wrote this poetry book called Ghetto and it's all about urban life and junk. So I went into the store and he was there and he said something along the lines of "Check out the book, free signing when you buy it." And I was like "Did you write it?" And he said "Yeah" and then he shook my hand and I had to move all my bags from my right hand to left to shake his hand properly, becuase you can't shake with the left, it's just not right man. The book was alright but it was like reading rap lyrics and there are just too many grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes in them for me to really enjoy them. But I don't doubt that the guy had talent, I mean he has a book out there. I didn't buy the book but I ended up signing my e-mail to some list to get e-mails from the dude. Nothing bad can come from that.
And that's basically what happened to me today. I'm kinda bored right now. And I'm on a Johnny Depp kick cause I watched Finding Neverland this afternoon and I love that movie oh so much.
But I'm kinda tired so I think I shall be heading to bed now. |

So I never really update this thing, I kinda forget about it. But I was talking to Dawnie yesterday, feels like we haven't spoken in forever, but we were chatting and we talked about LJ and how you can have like 100 icons now, which is way sexy. Esp. since I love icons. Lol. Yes, I am an icon nerd or even an icon whore. |

Alright...this is for Gayla...wherever you might be, if you are out there and you read this and you see this or whatever it is. I just wanted to know when we would discuss our whole little storyline with Patrick and whatnot and Dawn said this was the best way to get in contact with you. |

By request of Gayla, an update. I kinda forgot about this whole LJ thingie, pretty sad, I know. I mean I'm on it everyday looking for icons or reading stories but I forgot that I had my own. Pretty sad man, pretty darn sad. So Gayla, this post is for you and your broken foot. ::smiles::
My birthday was the other day, I don't feel any older or wiser, I feel like the same ol' Jenn. Should I feel different? I dunno, I don't think so, but what do I know. I'm feeling kinda bored and I wish I had some inspiration for something, anything really, because then I could use this boredom and write. It would be useful then, ya know?
I'm watching Lisa Marie Presley: InsideOut, she looks a lot like Elvis, imagine having Elvis as your father...::ponders the thought::
Alright, well that's all I have to say. Maybe I'll ramble more later. These ramblings are actually small cures for boredom if you think about. Even though it's kinda dorky, but aren't we all dorks? |

Well this is my first livejournal entry, which is pretty cool. I mean I've always surfed around here and read through journals and looked at icons and my friend Dawn convinced me, well rather made me a journal and now I have one, so I figured I would make a short little hello post.
So hello! |
